EXERCISE 3 PART 3

I decided to let one of my friends read my script, and they thought it was good. The only thing they wanted to change is that, they want it to be more exciting, which I agree. They said it was good but it was a little boring. So in my decision I think I’m going try to make it a little bit more exciting. As of myself I could find anything to change because of the location and the activities that took place. I say that because not a lot happens in that particular area. The area I chose is a very calmed and relaxed setting without a lot of activities going on. So in conclusion I’m just going to try to make it more exciting.

                    Julie

                Julie
Okay

- Stan looks in his book n began smiling_

(Zoom Out fades out)

EXERCISE 3 PART 1

The sight that I chose is located on campus behind the Center of Academic Success. There’s a lot of grass, open space, and not lot of activity in the area. What I admire about the location is the statue located in the middle of the clean cut grass. It’s not really so much of a statue, it’s a huge large craft made out of different parts of a log.
Not a lot of activity takes place around that area but I must say there’s lot of squirrels running around, rabbits, and a couple birds flying around. When View the location, I notice students studying, a male and female sitting on the bench area studying for their math exam after I had ask them. I chose this area because it’s a very chilled and relaxed place to be.

Chapter 3: Lighting Director (Attempt 1 )

I disagree because the commercial is about a face cream not the model's bone structure. You need to focus on the cream and it being applied to the face, and I believe much light is needed to get the job done.

For example the picture below don't have a fast fall off  light setting it focuses on the cream and the face.

IMAGE BANK

The Photo Bank I chose is Alfred Eisenstaedt. I chose this photographer because i find his photos very interesting. i say that because majority of his photos express reality, life and happiness. Also by some of his close up shots you can tell what the person is feeling. What I admire about this Photographer is his originality even though they were photos that express simplicity, they still grab my attention.

Alfred Eisenstaedt -

Photojournalist of the Century

Alfred Eisenstaedt was born on December 6 1898 in Dirschau (Tczew) in West Prussia, Germany. After moving to Berlin, Eisenstaedt served in the German Army's artillery during World War I. While doing that, as a freelancer he began taking photos for the Berliner Tageblatt. In 1929 he became a full time photographer, even photographed a meeting with Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini in Italy. In 1935 after Hitler's Nazi Oppression Eisenstaedt emigrated to Queens, New York where he worked for Life Magazine.

Reaction to The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

When the movie started I was lost, because of the camera view. After a while everything started to make sense. I realized we were viewing it from the character's point of view which made it interesting. Even though I didn't get a chance to finish the movie, from what I saw it turned out to be a good movie. I didn't think it was possible for a movie like this to carry on from that particular camera shot. What I also like was how it felt like I was in his head, for example the way he expressed his thoughts while he was talking to another character. As in conclusion I can say it's a good movie, and we must finish it in class.
